This tournament is turning out to be a really good tournament with a lot of good matchs that will decide further rankings. Does anyone have a list of the top wrestlers?

These are the currently ranked wrestlers. I know that Whitfield has a solid team this year and quite a few stud freshmen, but there are no Class 1 rankings, so I did not list them. Definitely looks like a tough tournament...Six #1 ranked wrestlers and 17 ranked in the top 3.

Hey Godfather, not sure if you noticed but the missouriwrestling.com forums are back up and going.... Two Missouri wrestling sites now? That's kind of silly.... Yep. To be honest, I only started this site because it was made apparent that Jonathan wasn't going to resume MissouriWrestling.com - I even inquired about purchasing it. I have tried to contact Jonathan about his thoughts (bringing the site back) and I haven't received a response. If I get anything, I will let you guys know. That will kind of determine whether I continue with this site.

Your stepping in to fill the void is much appreciated. I agree 100% with Scarf. I actually believe this site is a little more user friendly and appealing then the missouriwrestling site was. No sense to convert back now......

I like this site better than the other, and you have done a great job with it. Hope everyone stays here! Really, how long will it be before Jonathan decides to shut it back down?

Jonathan shut it down ONE TIME in 14 years. He did all the work on the site himself, almost exclusively at his own expense and time. You can dismiss it all you want, but that website was THE singular platform to provide information to fans, wrestlers, coaches, etc that they would not otherwise have.

You are right, it WAS the singular platform until he shut it down. Now we have a new website. I also never said that he did not do all those things. I understand that he worked hard for that site but needed more help and was not able to get that help. So again, now we have a new site. It is run very well, like i said, how long before he needs help again and receives none and has to shut it back down?

Suggestion - how about keeping this site, ask the two site admins to work together, and strengthen the Missouri wrestling information with the Power of 2 ...

We can't dismiss what Jonathan has done/will be doing for the wrestling community in Missouri. I received a response from him regarding his thoughts on bringing MissouriWrestling.com back and what the future looks like. I will post more about that topic soon.

Missouriwrestling.com forums have a ton of old threads that are fun to read through. Rankings from years ago, state predictions, epic arguments over who was the best all time. It would be a shame to lose all that information.
